This experiment tested the iv (different colors of light) on the dv (photosynthesis in plants). The three colors were red, blue, and green. The blue light caused the most absorption in the plant. This was a good experiment because there were many factors used to prevent error in the experiment. This experiment could be improved by having more trials and keeping the experiment going for a longer time to just make sure that the blue/ violet was the best for photosynthesis in plants. It could also be improved by using different color lights to see more interesting results. The results in this experiment surprised me. I hypothesized that the red light would cause more absorption in the plant because it is a close color to yellow like the sun. This was a very interesting experiment and i would like to try it myself.
